Last day at Lowther Hall

Friday August 4th

Today we had our Japan Day presentations to thank the host families for our trip.  We had many speeches, sang some songs and made some presentations.

We had a wonderful two weeks but are getting ready to come home to Japan.  Thank you again Lowther Hall for making us feel so welcome.

Thursday's classes

August 4th  

Today we had a class with the year 6 students in Japanese and English.  We finished making cards for our families in Art class.  We also played some games with the year 8 students.  We had a lot of fun.

Over Night Trip Day 2

August 3rd

Today we returned to  Melbourne using the Great Ocean Road.  We were able to see many beautiful sites on the ocean like Lockhart gorge and the 12 apostles.

Over Night Trip Day 1

August 2nd.

Today we started our overnight trip.  

First we went to Sovereign Hill.  It is a open museum where we saw life in Australia 150 years ago.  The girls took a ride on a stage coach and saw gold being poured.

When then went to the Aboriginal culture center in the Grampians.  The girls painted boomerangs and tasted traditional foods such as Kangaroo and Emu and bush scones.

  

Monday August 1st classes

Today we had many English classes with the Lowther Hall students.  They tried very hard.
